The FTP service is considered the best way of sharing files over the Internet and keeping backups of all your personal and private data. It's also the best way of uploading website files on a server, so that the website can be accessed by anyone. But in order to benefit from all the features offered by FTP, you will need a FTP client. The Windows operating system includes a simple FTP client, which unfortunately, is command line based, so beginners will not be able to use it. It's also very difficult to use when dealing with many files. A much better solution would be to use BatchFTP, which is a simple Windows program which allows using the FTP service in the easiest way possible.

The program is very simple to install and has a very intuitive interface. When launching the application, the user has two options for accessing a FTP server, either using the quick connect feature, which only requires entering the FTP server address, username and password or by creating a new connection. The second method has the advantage that the FTP server will be always accessible using a single click, as the connection details will be stored in the program's database.

After connecting to a FTP server, the user can perform file and folder operations using drag and drop, in a similar manner to using Windows Explorer. All the current file and folder operations will be displayed in real time in the lower part of the interface, allowing the user to view any possible error.

BatchFTP allows adding an unlimited number of FTP accounts to its database, each having its own settings.

Pros

It includes a simple interface which allows uploading and downloading files and folders from a FTP server using drag and drop. Besides that, it can store all the FTP connection details in a single place, allowing the user to connect to the server using a single click. Furthermore, all the file operations are displayed in real time in the interface.

Cons

The program requires some knowledge regarding the FTP service in order to be fully used. BatchFTP allows you to connect to any FTP server and upload and download files and folders in the easiest and quickest way possible.
